Sopore: Government forces on Thursday launched a cordon-and-search operation at Dangerpora village of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. The internet services in Sopore have been snapped.
Reports said a joint team of Army’s 22 RR, special operation group of police (SOG) and CRPF launched joint search operation following “suspicious movement” of some militants in the area.
To prevent “any law and order” problem Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore has ordered closure of Govt. Boys and Girls higher secondary school Sopore, Govt HR. Secondary school Dangerpora and Govt Degree college Sopore.
