Poonch: An Assistant sub inspector, ASI, of Border security force (BSF) was injured last night in KG sector along LOC in Poonch district. India and Pakistan armies traded gunfire during night.

“Shell landed at forward post Baloni in KG sector which resulted in injury of a BSF personnel namely ASI Satypal Singh,” an official said.

Singh was hit by splinters from the explosion and was referred to Rajouri hospital for advanced treatment where his condition is said to be stable .
