Pulwama: Clashes erupted in Rathsuna village of Tral sub division on Wednesday afternoon during Cordon and search operation in the area that was launched by joint team of government forces.
Youth took to streets and clashed with forces in the area, and forces resorted tear gas shelling near Jamia Masjid area of the said.
“Cordon was launched on the basis of inputs about the presence of militants in the area,” sources said.
The operation was going on when last reports came in.
