Jammu: India and Pakistan armies traded gunfire in Nowshehra Sector in District Rajour of Jammu division of state on Monday.

According to officials at about 0815 hours, Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation.

“They resorted to shelling with mortars & firing of small arms along LoC in Nowshera Sector,” he said.

“Indian Army is retaliating beffitingly,” they said.
