Pulwama: Government forces conducted nocturnal raids in Tahab village of Pulwama district and arrested five youth during the midnight operation. 

According to locals a large contingent of forces cordonned cluster of houses in the village in night hours. 

“During the ensuing search operation they picked up five youth from the village,” locals claimed.

They identified the arrested youth as as Tariq Ahmad 25 S/o Ab Gani, Suhail Ah Wani 19 S/o Ab Rashid, Aasif Ah Rather 22 S/o Ab Gani, Nasir Nazir 18 S/o Nazir Ahmad Ganie and Naseer ah Wani 23 S/o Ab Rashid age they are residents of Tahab Pulwama.

Police confirmed on Friday that it had conducted the midnight raids and has detained five youth from the area.

They claimed that the arrested have been involved in stone pelting incidents and are being questioned.
