Ganderbal: Complete shutdown is being observed in parts of Ganderbal against killing of a local militant, and on the second death anniversary of a youth killed in 2017.
Rahil Rashid Shiekh, resident of Nuner area of the district was killed along with an associate in a gunfight with government forces in Shopian.


According to reports all shops, business establishments closed in Nunner and it’s adjoining areas of the district.
Shutdown is being observed in Baroosa areas on the 2nd death anniversary of Umer Farooq Ganaie a local youth who was killed in government forces action in 2017.


On 9th April 2017 Umer Farooq Ganaie (20) son of Farooq Ahmad Ganaie a Resident of Baroosa Ganderbal was killed in forces action.
