Shopian: A police man was critically injured in the clashes at Ratnipora Shopian on Friday.
He has been identified as Havaldar Tariq Ahmad, and was referred to 92 Base hospital for treatment.
Police officials said that Tariq was hit by a stone in head and is in critical conditions.
Clashes erupted in Ratnipora Shopian between government forces after a gunfight broke out in the nearby village.
The gunfight ended with death of two militants.
