Srinagar: Pakistan on Tuesday alleged violation of the Line of Control (LoC) by Indian military planes even as there has been no official word from New Delhi hitherto.
“Indian Air Force violated Line of Control. Pakistan Air Force immediately scrambled. Indian aircrafts gone back,” said Pakistan’s Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations Major-General Asif Ghafoor on his official Twitter account early on Tuesday.
He followed it with another tweet: “Indian aircrafts intruded from Muzafarabad sector. Facing timely and effective response from Pakistan Air Force released payload in haste while escaping which fell near Balakot. No casualties or damage.” The alleged violation comes nearly two weeks after Pulwama attack in which 49 CRPF personnel were killed.
