Srinagar: Lashing out at PDP BJP Ruling Dispensation for lack of development Policy in three regions of the State, The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir while addressing a meeting of Senior Party workers of Dooru Verinag today, stated that the developmental process started during UPA rule in the State has come to stand still due to wrong approach of the Govt. Even the works on some important projects near completion were put on hold to benefit blue eyed persons of ruling Parties, Mir said.
Blaming the PDP BJP Ruling dispensation for failing ensure equitable developmental of all the three regions as was promised by BJP and PDP to people, PCC President hit out the Coalition for failing to fulfill the promises made with the people in respect of development, peace, safety and security, which has become a distant dream in the State especially in Valley.
Described the present regime as complete failure on all fronts, Mir said even the essential remain invisible in markets, as a result people are confronted with a great difficulties on this count also.
Mentioning that unemployment has risen considerably in the State, G.A Mir said that State Govt must come out with a policy for Casual Labourers, Daily-wagers wagers working different departments for their regularization, Congress President said that Statements coming from the Govt from time to time with regard to regularization process, will not address the unemployment problem, there is a need to take effective measures to curb unemployment on top priority, as that will be a great respite to thousands of families, he added.
Referring to the deteriorating Security Scenario in the State especially valley, G.A. Mir said the situation has worsened to a large extent due to the utter failure of the Govt to ensure safety of people, as a result people are not feeling safe.
While expressing deep sorrow and grief over the loss of seven precious lives of Amarnath Pilgrims, G.A. Mir blamed the Govt for even failing to ensure safety of Pilgrims visiting Amarnath for performing yearly pilgrimage, which has put a big question mark on the Security Procedure of State Government, he said.
