Urges Governor to personally intervene in tackling issues of NHM employees

SRINAGAR: On 16th consecutive day of the ongoing indefinite dharna by All Jammu  and Kashmir National Health Mission Employees Association of Joint Coordination  NHM RNTCP & NACON Employees affiliated with BMS at Srinagar, Janta Dal (United) JD (U) State President G M Shaheen  on Tuesday visited the protesting NHM employees and extended his party support to them.

The protesting NHM employees are demanding their regularization in the health department of the State who served in health department since the scheme was launched by the central government.

The leaders of NHM while interacting presented a memorandum of demands to JDU State President G M Shaheen who said that all the demands of NHM employees were legitimate and should be fulfilled by present dispensation.

He urged the Governor’s Administration to revisit and review the one-time settlement of agitating NHM employees who have undergone enormous miseries. He added, the JDU had already taken up with the Governor from time to time, as it pertained to the welfare of a large number of NHM employees and their families.

He further urged upon the Governor Satya Pal Malik to personally intervene in issue in addressing the issues and problems being faced by them for last many days pertaining to their demands which had been ignored by the previous governments.
