Pulwama: A shutdown is being observed in Hawal area of Pulwama district in south Kashmir on Sunday afternoon.
Reports reaching INS said that youth assembled in Hawal and started pelted stones on government forces who were already deployed there. The youth blocked Shopian -Pulwama highway near Hawal and over the killing of two militants at khonmoh yesterday.
The government forces resorted to tear smoke shells to disperse them, reports aid.
Meanwhile, hundreds of people visited Arihal village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama on day second to visit the grave of slain militant, Saquib Ahmad, to offer prayers to him.
