Rajouri: The district administration has ordered an inquiry into the felling of a tricolor off the post as it was hoisted at the main R-Day function in Rajouri district on Saturday.
District Magistrate Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Asad has constituted a committee comprising ADC Rajouri Sher Singh and ASP Liaqat Kalas and the panel has been asked to enquire into the facts of the matter and submit the report within one week “positively.” The concerned police official has been also placed under suspension, reports said.
Earlier, the flag fell off the post and landed on the ground as soon the district magistrate Rajouri pulled the string at the police lines.
