Srinagar: President Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad on Tuesday urged Governor Satpal Malik to initiated a high level and time bound judicial probe into the attack on journalists while discharging their professional duty at Shopian in South Kashmir.
In a statement issued here, Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad said that journalists are performing their duties in a very hostile environment and many at times risking their lives in the state.
“It appears that certain forces are being allowed to violate the law will impunity,” he said.
