Govt forms group of engineers for inspection of Jammu Ropeway Project

Srinagar: The government on Monday constituted a group of senior engineers to act as technical inspectors from the State Government for inspection of Jammu Ropeway Project.
The group comprises of Chief Engineer, Mechanical Engineering Department Jammu, Chief Engineer M&RE, Jammu, Superintending Engineer (civil) Jammu and Showkat Ahmad Bhat, deputy Manager (Mechanical), J&K State Cable Car Corporation Ltd Gulmarg.
“The Group shall have the mandate to act as per the provisions prescribed under Section 10 & 11 of the J&K Aerial Ropeway Act, 2002,” reads an order issued by the government.
