Ganderbal: Manigam villages demand free tutorials in area, officials say, working on it

Ganderbal: Manigam village in Kangan zone, an economically and educationally backward area has demanded that education department should winter tutorials for their children in the area. 

“Our wards are not in a position to attend winter tutorial centres at Kangan which is at a distance of about 10 kms,” they said.

Parents of Manigam, Arhama, Benhama and its adjoining areas demand that the winter tutorial centres should be opened in the area also save precious time of the wards.

Chief Education officer Ganderbal Sheikh Gayas-ud-din said that the demand of the area is genuine but the impediment has been lack of human resource.

“We will try our utmost to engage some NYC and contractual staff if available,” Sheikh said, adding that two more free winter tutorial centers will be opened at Manigam and Lar areas.
