Free Diagnostic Camp held at KU

Srinagar: As an outreach program to serve the society, the Department of Clinical Biochemistry University of Kashmir in collaboration with University Health Centre organized a Free Diagnostic Camp for Teaching & Non-Teaching employees of the University of Kashmir here on Monday.
The camp was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor, University of Kashmir Prof Talat Ahmad who appreciated the efforts of the organizing departments for organizing the free Diagnostic Camp for the employees of the university and said that there is need of organizing more such camps in future for the overall benefit of the society.
About two hundred employees from both Teaching and Non-teaching fraternity attended the camp and were screened for various Diagnostic tests like – Blood Sugar, C.B.C, KFT, LFT, Lipid Profile & HbA1c.
“The tests were done free of cost. The Department aims to conduct such activities in future also for the benefit of University staff, Students in particular and society in general,” said Dr Shajrul Amin Coordinator Department of Clinical Biochemistry KU.
