Srinagar: Kashmir’s capital city Srinagar Friday witnessed coldest night of the season at minus 4 degrees Celsius, the weather office said.

The weather office: “The temperatures dropped due to clear night sky. During the next 48 hours, the state’s higher reaches are likely to receive light snow as a Western Disturbance is expected to become active during this period.”

The minimum temperatures in Pahalgam and Gulmarg were minus 6.0 degrees Celsius and minus 6.2, respectively.
