Kupwara: The armies of India and Pakistan on Thursday afternoon exchanged heavy gunfire along Line of control  in Machil of northern Kahsmirs Kupwara district.

Officials sources said that, The Pakistani troopers targeted the Indian Army posts along Line of control in  Machil which was retaliated heavily by Indian Army.
Local sources said that, two armies exchanged gunfire along Line of control at Ringpayeen area including Tantray and Khan Basti area.
Exchange of fire was going on when this report was file, however no loss of life was reported from the scene so far.
