Bandipora: A picture of a missing youth from north Kashmir’s Hajin area of Bandipora district, in which he is holding an AK 47 rifle had gone viral on social media here on today.

Sources said that, after more than three months, the picture of the missing youth appeared on social media in which he is seen posing with an AK47 rifle.

Mudasir Rashid Parray a resident of Khankah Mohalla of Hajin town along with another 16 year old Bilal Ahmad had gone missing sine 31 August this year, after an encounter took place in Parray Mohalla of Hajin town in which three foreign Militants killed. Among the two Mudasir had joined Militant Ranks, though the outfit was not known yet. Mudasir is said to be student of 11th Standard.

Locals sources said that, this is not a first case in Hajin town, it is the sixth such incident which took place in the area after the mass uprising of 2016.

A Police official said that police is verifying the facts.

“Yes we too saw his photograph holding a gun, but we are verifying the facts,” he said.
