Kupwara: Two revenue department officials suffered injuries at kuligam Lolab on Thursday evening while returning from poll duty. 
Reports said that  they were attacked by a mob with stones while returning back home after completion of polls.
“Both the officials were travelling towards their respective destinations after completion of all formalities required on poll duty, A group of youth pelted stones on the officials in which two of our on duty officials sustained injured,” an official from the department said.
He identified both the Injured as, Pervaiz Ahmad Mir son of Haseena Ahmad Mir Resident of Gaagal Kalaroose and Iqbal Ahmad Peerzada, in the incident the vehicle they had boarded was also damaged.
According to officials, Pervaiz Ahmad has sustained grave injuries in his head.
