Ganderbal: Education department has terminated a female teacher after sixteeen years of services for submitting fake certificates to the department at the time of being inducted in services.

The government passed order of termination against Hajira Bano wife of Gulzar Ahmad Shiekh resident of Saderbagh area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

“She had submitted fake certificate of class 12th,” an official said.

He further said that after more than 16 years of service, 12th pass certificate of a Rehbar taleem teacher (ReT) was found fake and she has been terminated

The teacher was engaged as RET teacher in Government Boys Middle school Serch Chodribagh zone Ganderbal in 2003 and her services were regularized in 2008.
