TRAL: A complete shutdown is being observed on second consecutive day Thursday in Tral sub division of South Kashmir against the killing of two JeM militants in an encounter with forces at Tral onTuesday.
All the shops and business establishments are closed in the area while public transport is off the roads.
Both the JeM militants including a local and foreigner namely Showkat Ahmad Khan of Hundoora Tral and Usman Hyder, were killed in a gunfight, at Chaan Kitar village, some 5 kilometers from sub district headquarter Tral.
Usman Hyder is said to be relative of JeM chief Masood Azhar. He was buried in Baramulla district by the authorities.
Meanwhile, large number of people from different areas of Tral continue to visit the slain local militant’s home at Hundoora area of Tral where they pay homage to family and offered prayers for him.
