JKBOSE, IUST postpone exams; KU reschedules B.G 1st semester papers to Oct 24

Srinagar: In wake of the civilian killings in Kulgam and call for strike, J&K Board Of School Education and Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) on Sunday postponed examinations scheduled tomorrow.
“The examination scheduled tomorrow stand postponed,” Chairperson/ Secretary Board Of School Education Veena Pandit said , adding, fresh dates for the postponed examinations will be announced later.
Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora also postponed all examination scheduled tomorrow. “New dates shall be notified,” the IUST said in a statement issued here.
Meanwhile, according to a communication received from Kashmir University, the examination of the papers of B.G 1st semester, scheduled to be held on Monday (October 22) has been rescheduled and shall now be conducted on Wednesday (24-10-2018) . “However, all the rest of the examinations scheduled to be conducted on Monday shall be held as per schedule,” reads the statement issued by Controller of Examinations, University Of Kashmir.
