Two militants killed in brief shootout in northern Kashmir’s Baramulla district

Srinagar: Two militants have been killed in a brief shootout in Kralhar area near Railway station in northern Kashmir’s Baramulla district Friday afternoon.

Police sources said that the militants opened fire on a naka party, the forces retaliated killing two militants. They said that one AK 47 and one pistol were recovered from their possession.

Earlier, reports said that one policeman also sustained injuries in the attack.

Meanwhile sources said that Army’s 52 RR SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police, and other forces cordoned off the area following the attack.
