Kashmir municipal polls: 2.17 % votes polled in Bandipora till noon

Srinagar: A total of 2.17 percent of votes were polled in Bandipora district of northern Kashmir for the municipal polls.
The polling for the municipal committee began at 7 am in the morning.
An official while briefing about the break up said that 368 votes polled till noon. 249 male votes were polled, while 119 females polled their votes.
16 out of 17 wards of Bandipora MC are going for polls today. The first phase of municipal and local body elections started this morning. 1204 candidates are in fray in the first phase of polls.
