Traders, transporters meet governor on shifting Bus Stand Batmaloo to Parimpora

Srinagar: A delegation of All Traders and Transporters Joint Coordination Committee-West Zone, Srinagar led by its Chairman Abrar Ahmad Khan and President Peer Imtiyaz-ul-Hassan, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here on Saturday.
The delegation apprised Governor about various issues relating to Batmaloo area and Batmaloo marketplace including the damaging effect on the business activity of the area due to shifting of Bus Stand from Batmaloo to Parimpora. The delegation requested for early implementation of the High Court order in this regard in which directions have been passed to operate transport facility on trial basis for six months w.e.f 12th September 2018 to facilitate Batmaloo market.
Governor assured the delegation early redressal of their grievances.
Umang Narula, Principal Secretary to Governor was present on the occasion.
