BEI trains 14 students in swimming and rescue

Srinagar: Bilaliya Educational Institute in collaboration with Swim N Survive Society Kashmir on Monday gave away certificates and mementos to 14 Swimmers (students) of Bilaliya Educational Institute after successfully completing the swimming and rescue course at Hotel Shahenshah Swimming Pool.
BEI in collaboration with Swim N Survive Society Kashmir started swimming and rescue coaching camp in July under Swimming expert Riyaz Wani.
Commissioner Secretary Department of Youth Services & Sports Sarmad Hafeez was the chief guest on the occasion. President Private Schools Association G. N. Var was guest of honour while as Swim N Survive Society President Er. Mushtaq Wani,, Chairman BEI Manzoor Wangnoo, Principal BEI Nissar Ahmad, Swimming experts Riyaz Wani and Abid Amin were also present on the valedictory function at Nageen Lake.
Sarmad Hafeez while appreciating the conduct of swimming courses said, “Swimming and rescue training programme is very important and these programmes should continue in future.” He also assured all possible support.
GN Var, president Pvt. School Association, said that apart from a good exercise swimming is an essential tool in the disaster management.
Chairman BEI MAnzoor Ahmad Wangnoo while thanking Sarmad Hafeez, GN Var for gracing the occasion, awarding the moments/certificates and boosting the morale of the swimmers.
He also thanked Swim N Survive Society Experts and said, “We (Inn ShaAllah) aspire in offering an integrated educational experience for the holistic development of a child by fostering a synergic blend between scholastic and co- scholastic achievements and a host of co-curricular and extra curricular activities under a stone moral framework.”
