Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (G) condemned authorities for slapping another PSA on Tehreek-e-Hurriyat activists Mohammad Salim War, Gh Rasool Parey, Ab Majid Lone, Farooq Ahmad Najar, Ab Majid Mir, Fayaz Ahmad Ganai, and Meraj u Din Naikoo.
In a statement issued to KNS, Hurriyat (G) said that ailing Mohammad Rustum Bhat was released after a prolonged detention of eleven month, however all other activists though bailed out by court, were slapped with one more Public Safety Act and shifted to Kotbhalwal and Kathua in Jammu.
It is sheer injustice and illustrates the haughtiness of authorities, said Hurriyat and added that cases against dozens of youth are filed under this infamous law and shifted to different jails in far-flung areas of Jammu.
Hurriyat Conference (G) said that Tehreek-e-Hurriyat is the prime target for authorities and almost two hundred THK activists are detained in different jails.

Day’s before slapping PSA on them, these prisoners were lodged in police stations and their families were expecting their release, however authorities hurriedly slapped PSA and detained them again, Hurriyat (G) said.

They are simply rubber stamps, said Hurriyat (G) while lashing at district authorities and said that these authorities follow police higher ups with their eyes folded.
Detainees are subjected to vengeance, said Hurriyat and despite sufficient accommodation in local jails, the detainees are shifted to outside state jails.
They even ignore the ruling of the Supreme court regarding prisoners wherein it has clearly directed state authorities to lodge detainees adjacent to their home cities.
Hurriyat Conference (G) strongly criticized police for intimidating and terrorizing Dawood Ahmad Phuley son of detained THK activist Javed Ahmad Phuley and said that police action is quite unjustified and termed it inhuman & heartless act.
Hurriyat (G) while criticizing authorities for shifting prisoners outside state, said that it is sheer bullying and added that instead of releasing detinues, were shifted to outside valley.
