Pulwama : Unknown gunmen fired upon a woman near Jamia Masjid at main Chowk Pulwama in this south Kashmir district on Saturday evening.

Sources said the gunman fired upon Simran Jan daughter of Bashir Ahmad Wani of Saidakadal Srinagar while she was travelling in her private vehicle near Jamia Masjid Murran Chowk Pulwama. The woman suffered bullet injuries in her foot and was referred to Bone and Joints hospital Srinagar for specialized treatment, they said.
