People asked to come out of houses in Kulgam by forces

Kulgam: The locals of Bhan in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday night have been asked to come out of their houses by the Government forces.

As per locals after a stone throwing incident, the forces entered inside several houses in the Bhan village in Kulgam and allegedly vandalized property.

The locals said that forces entered in the Jamia Masjid of the area and made a announcements on the loud speakers of local mosque, asking people to come out of their homes and gather at the ground of a local shrine in the area.

Pertinently a woman suffered minor injuries after her son was allegedly arrested by the forces earlier in the night.

Stone throwing had started in the area when a party of Government forces moved through the village. Despite repeated attempts, no army officer could be contacted for comment.
