IGP Kashmir promotes 257 police personnel

Srinagar: A Departmental Promotion Committee met under the chairmanship of IGP Kashmir Zone Swayam Prakash Pani (IPS), for promotion of SG Constable to the rank of Head Constables of Executive wing of J&K Police having lien and seniority with Kashmir Zone.
With this, a total number of 232 SG Constables have been brought on promotion list-C 2018 for their promotion to the rank of Head Constables. In addition 25 promotion cases in different ranks have also been cleared in the special DPC.
