Handwara: A semi decomposed body of a mentally challenged person, missing from last one month, was recovered in forest area of chogul Handwara in north Kashmirs district Kupwara on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Khursheed Ahmed Wani (30) ,  reportedly mentally unsound.

Local sources said that Khursheed was missing for a month from his hometown Chogul.

Body of the deceased was later taken to Handwara district  hospital for postmortum. Police has registered a  case under relevant section of RPC  to the incident, police said
