Srinagar: Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) on Saturday lauded the militants for carrying out a ‘successful ambush operation against Indian forces’ in Lower Munda area of Qazi Gund.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, the LeT Spokesman, Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi while quoting the outfit chief, Mehmood Shah as saying, “The real reward remains with Allah SWT, however we have announced reward for the Mujahideen who carried out successful strike.”
The LeT chief said that “the militants have responded to Bipin Rawat with this action. He wanted those with Gun to respond, here is your response. Instead of putting up a fight against those with guns, coward Indian forces chose to escape.”
“We congratulate whole Kashmiri nation on this resistance attack. This is the month of Ramadhan, also the month of Jihad. Prophet (SAW) himself fought the battle of Badar in this month. The Triumph of Makkah was also on 20th of Ramazan. We need to fight the occupation together and remain steadfast in this month seeking Allah’s help and mercy,” the LeT chief added. (KNS)
