Srinagar: Taking a strong note of shifting Asia Indrabi, “the iron lady of our freedom movement”, along with her two associates, Fehmeeda Sofi and Nahida Nasreen to New Delhi by the Indian National Investigation agency (NIA), Joint Resistance leadership has called for a complete shutdown and maintaining civil curfew on July 7.

Andrabi and her two associates were taken from Srinagar Central Jail to Delhi by the NIA in an alleged sedition case.

The JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Mohammad Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik leaders condemned the brazen and dastard action of NIA and termed it the worst form of political vengeance and vendetta against the resistance leadership.

JRL made a fervent appeal to the nation to observe complete shutdown and maintain civil curfew on 7 July against the shifting of Asia Indrabi and her associates to Delhi by the NIA.
