SRINAGAR, JULY 03: Advisor to Governor, K Vijay Kumar and Chief Secretary B V R Subrahmanyam convened an introductory meeting with senior Army, J&K Police and Paramilitary officersregarding security and other developmental issues, here today.

The meeting was attended by Director General of Police Dr S P Vaid, Principal Secretary Home R K Goyal, General Officer Commanding Chinar Corps Lt General A K Bhatt, ADGP Law & Order/Security Muneer Khan, ADGP CID AG Mir, IGP Kashmir S P Pani, IG (Ops) CRPF Srinagar, IG CRPF (Admn) Srinagar, IG BSF Kashmir and representatives from Divisional Commissioner’s Office Kashmir.

The Advisor and Chief Secretary underscored the need of effective coordination among all functionaries of State Government, Civil & Police Departments, Army and other concerned agencies to ensure peace in the State.
