Nocturnal raids in Pulwama, dozen youths arrested

Pulwama: Forces conducted nocturnal raids in different areas of, as well as in main town Pulwama district of south kashmir and almost a dozen youth have been arrested.

Sources said that Army, jammu & kashmir police and Crpf jointly raided and detained youths from their homes.

Officials wishing not to be named confirmed the nocturnal raids and also detention of youths ‘for their role in various stone pelting incidents of the district’.

Meanwhile yesterday a complete strike was observed in shadimargh villages of pulwama where youths were arrested after the death of Army men Aurangzeb.
