Pampore protests against PDD

Pampore : Drangbal residents in Pampore protested against PDD for failing to restore electric transformer and blocked Srinagar-Jammu national highway for around an hour.

Scores of people including womens took to the streets and raised anti PDD slogans at Drangbal Pampore.

The protesters alleged that electric transformer was damaged few days ago but the authorities failed to repair the transformer. As the protests intensified, Station House Officer Pampore rushed to the spot and pacified the protesters as he assured them that their problems would be redressed.

Soon after his assurance, the people concluded the protests.
