Four militants killed in Keran Sector

Kupwara: At least four militants were killed as army foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday, a defence official said.

Valley based defence spokesman Col Rajesh Kalia said that the infiltration bid was foiled in Keran Sector on Sunday morning.

He said that “four militants have been killed while attempting to infiltrate into this side of LoC.”

The operation is in progress, the official said.
