Militant, army exchange fire in Bandipora woods

Srinagar: Militants and army on Saturday exchanged fire at Panar area of Bandipora in North Kashmir. A police officer said that a group of militants attacked army’s 14 RR but there was no injuries reported. Following the attack, army cordoned off the area and suspended the operation in wake of darkness. He said that it was not immediately known whether the militants managed to escape or are trapped in the forest.
