Ganderbal: A man injured during scuffle over water dispute in Ahmadnagar soura succumbed to his injuries on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Ghulam Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Wahab Mir resident of Mir Mohalla Gulabagh Zukura.

According to reports the deceased sustained injuries during the clashes with his neighbour on water dispute.

He was rushed to the SKIMS Soura where he succumbed to his injuries today afternoon reports said.

A Police official from police station soura said that a case has been registered in this regard FIR No 70/2018 US 307 Rpc and investigation is taken up.

He also said the father of accused has been detained and a manhunt has been launched to nab the culprit.

He is evading arrest since the crime day.
