Six infiltrators killed in Rampur sector: Army

Srinagar: Army today claimed to have foiled a major infiltration bid in Rampur sector of Uri in Baramulla district of north Kashmir by killing six infiltrators.
According to an army spokesman, six militants were killed in a major operation at Rampur sector near Line of Control. “The army noticed movement of infiltrators and engaged them in a firefight. Six militants have been killed and a search operation is underway,” said the spokesman.
On Friday, army claimed to have foiled a BAT action in Uri sector by killing two militants near Line of Control.(GNS)
