Srinagar: Friday congregational prayers on Jumat ul Vada will be offered at 2:30 pm at Jamia Masjid in Shehr e Khas  on June 8.

According to Anjuman I Auqaf Jamia Masjid Srinagar it has informed people about prayer timings, who throng to the states grand mosque for prayers from all over the state especially on Jumat ul Vida and night to Al Qadr, Shab e Qadr for night long prayers.

“The Friday prayers on Jumat ul Vada, i.e June 8 will will be held at 2:30 pm while Mirwaiz Umar Farooq will deliver his sermon from 12:30 pm,” The grand mosque committee informed.

They also said that on Shab e Qadr the Isha prayers will be held at 10 Pm and sermons will follow prayers.

Anjuman spokesman said that a meeting to take stock of preparedness was held under the chairmanship of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq who directed them to keep all the needful things available for people visiting the grand mosque.
