Vaishno Devi Yatra: devotee from UP dies of heart attack

Jammu: One devotee on Vaishno Devi Yatra breathed his last after suffering a heart attack on Wednesday. Meanwhile yatra has been halted due to some work enroute.

Officials said that, “one yatri namely Suraj  pal gupta S/o late payare lal gupta R/o-village karwali distt.-mainpuri state-U.p. age-75 years died at 1040 hrs near  out cave at  bhawan  due to heart attack.”

The official added that Yatra had to be stopped between Bhawan to bhairo Ghati due to removing of stone  for ropeway  at 0920 hrs and yatra Sanchi chhat to bwn by Gauri Bhawan’ stairs
