Friday in Pics: Jamia Masjid closed, funeral prayers in absentia, restrictions, protests

No Friday prayers were held at Kashmir Central Mosque Jamia Masjid in Nowhatta area of Shehr e khaas Srinagar. Authorities had imposed strict curfew like restrictions in the city parts on Friday to thwart pro freedom protests.

Restrictions were imposed in Srinagar city parts to thwar pro freedom protests against recent killings of eight militants and seven civilians in Srinagar and Shopian districts of the valley.

 

On JRL call funeral prayers in absentia for those who were killed chattabal and Shopian anti militancy operations recently.
