Injured in Shopian clashes, youth succumbs at SMHS

Srinagar: An injured youth, during clashes that erupted after gunfight between militants and govermnent forces on Sunday in shopian has succumbed to his injuries at SMHS hospital on Tuesday taking death toll to 11.

The deceased has been identified as Sufail ahmad rather of Nagbal Shopian breathed his last on Tuesday.

With Sufail’s demise the death toll in the Sunday encounter and clashes has reached 11.

Five militants including top HM commander Saddam padder were killed in the gunfight and five civilians too died in clashes trying to save militants near encounter site.
