Srinagar: Scouts & Guides from various institutions were felicitated at the Green Valley Educational Institute, Ellahi Bagh for participating in National Scout Jamboree held at Bangladesh. Chairmen of various other schools were also present. Mr. Riyaz Ahmad Beg, SDM Srinagar who was also present as the chief guest interacted with the students. “Students are the future of our nation and it is very important to groom them and give them exposure in every field. He further said it is very important for an individual to be physically as well as mentally fit to accomplish his role in the society”.
Mr. M.Y Wani, Chairman Green Valley Educational Institute and President of J&K State Bharat Scouts & Guides (District Srinagar), Mr. Muzzafar Ahmed Tramboo, State organizing commissioner, J&K State Bharat Scouts & Guides were also present on the occasion.
