Ganderbal: Anganwadi workers, helpers protests, demand regularization

Ganderbal: Anganwadi workers and helpers of  here protested and blocked Beehama safapora road near mini secretariat demanding regularization of services and enhancement of salaries.
Police reached on spot and asked protesting Anganwadi workers open the blocked road. However the protesting Anganwadi workers refused to disperse and continued their protest.
Police swung into action and used batons and teargas shells to disperse the protesters.
SHO ganderbal Nisar Hurrah said that the Anganwadi workers disrupted traffic on highway and did not move from road despite repeated pleas.
