Holding RSS meet in Jammu vindicates my stand against BJP-PDP: Karra

Srinagar: Senior Congress Leader and former Member of Parliament from Srinagar Tariq Hameed Karra on Wednesday said that holding of RSS and VHP annual review meeting at Jammu has unfortunately vindicated my stand against BJP-PDP combine. Since its inception as the proposed review meeting would be another step forward towards the implementation of hegemonial and decisive Politics of the fascist forces collaborated and facilitated by PDP.
In a statement issued to KNS, he said that this dangerous move is nothing but the fulfillment of a cherished desire of RSS backed right winged fanatic forces for Political, religious and Cultural demography of the only Muslim majority state in the country. It is ironic to see that BJP and other likeminded decisive forces have been accruing Congress party for their appeasement policy towards minority of the country but their instant attempt is to imbalance the age old communal Harmony of the state by holding such meetings for giving fillip to a miniscule strength of fanatic forces amongst the minority community of our state. While the state is going through its roughest patch of unfortunate events, the state is in the hands of most immature, irresponsible, insensitive and impulsive leadership, who have pushed the state into a war like situation.
“The level of alienation and discontent is at its highest ebb. The miseries of people in every sphere, may it be political, administrative, religious or cultural sphere in the hands of security forces or pseudo politicians is increasing with every passing day. As if betrayal of the mandate was not enough shock to the people, the government of the day seems to be in virtual war with its own subjects,” Karra added.
“By facilitating RSS sponsored Shastra Yatras, opening of RSS Shakha’s for the first time in the state and now holding of such meetings is a clear indication of nefarious designs of the fascist forces perpetrated upon the Muslim majority community of the state in general and the Kashmir’s in particular. But these fascist forces and their collaborators and facilitators must get awakened by the preceding unruly situation in the state. Since the date of inception of this unholy alliance the people in general have shown their disregard, disrespect and unacceptance of this jingoistic anti people alliance,” Karra said. (KNS)
