Kulgam encounter: DH Anantnag refers 4 injured to Sgr

Anantnag: District hospital Anantnag is battling to take care of the huge inflow of injured civilians and 4 civilians have been referred to Srinagar who had grievous injuries.

According to officials at DH Anantnag at least 12 injured have been brought to hospital with bullet and pellet injuries.

“Four have been referred to Srinagar for treatment as they had severe injuries,” they said.

Hospital officials were unavailable to confirm the number of injured.

Massive clashes have erupted around the site where Government forces and militants are exchanging heavy fire in which three civilians have been killed and one army personnel too succumbed to his injuries.

Protests have erupted at various places against the civilian killings and students at various educational institutions too staged demonstrations.
