Pulwama: The Urs of Khalifa Awal Ameerul Momineen Hazrat Abu Bakr Sidiq (RA) is being celebrated at Assar-i-Sharief Hazratbal, Kouserbal Tral, Jinab Sahib Soura, Assar-i-Sharief Kalashpora, Kabamarg and Aham-i-Sharief Bandipora among other places in Kashmir Valley on Sunday.
At Kouserbal Tral in this South Kashmir district, large number of devotees from different parts of the district attended the annual Urs.
A joint prayer was held in which devotees prayed for peace, prosperity, unity, brotherhood and communal harmony in the State.
Makeshift markets sprung up in the area and large number of people were seen buying different commodities.
However, the largest gathering of devotees was witnessed in Hazratbal Srinagar where thousands of devotees participated in the special prayers.
